LEAD. EMPOWER. ADVANCE. DEVELOP.

The LEAD Academy mission is to encourage the retention of women attorneys in the legal profession and to assist them in attaining the highest levels of success in their firms, organizations, and communities.

The Bexar County Women's Bar Foundation LEAD Academy is the premiere leadership academy for women attorneys working in and around Bexar County. Our goal for each class is to help talented women excel in the practice of law and remain engaged in the legal profession.

Women provide the diversity that clients increasingly prefer and often require. The Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation’s LEAD Academy prepares women attorneys to take the next step in their careers and become leaders in their field. Participants learn to identify their personal goals, leverage their strengths, project confidence and credibility, promote their value, develop a network, and inspire others to follow them all while managing the unique challenges of being a woman in the legal profession.
