The Gender Gap

In 2014, the BCWB Officers and Board of Directors, led by then-President Tiffanie Clausewitz, studied how best to use BCWB’s resources to specifically target one recurring theme: talented women attorneys were leaving the legal profession at alarming rates, and many of those who stayed were not on the same playing field as their male counterparts. LEAD was developed to complement the work of BCWB and further strengthen its membership, with an eye toward closing the gender gap plaguing the legal profession.
